That pause gave the week a rhythm. It reminded people that work could wait, errands could wait, and what mattered most couldn’t. Looking back now, it wasn’t about rules or restrictions. It was about valuing time, family, and presence in a way that feels rare today. And sometimes, missing those Sundays is really missing the balance they gave us.
